Ingredients

  • 2 cups thin sliced apples
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix together the sliced apples, sugar, oil, eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla in a large bowl.
  2. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together.
  3. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Add chopped nuts and fold into the batter.
  5. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
