Apple Hermit Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1 c. peeled apple
  • 1/2 c. oatmeal
  • 1/2 c. walnuts
  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and brown sugar.
  2. Add eggs and beat well.
  3. Stir in nuts, dates, apples and rolled oats.
  4. Add flour and cinnamon, baking powder and salt.
  5. Mix well and drop from spoon onto greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
