Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 large apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • about 5 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
  • 3 eggs, room temperature
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Melt 6 tablespoons of butter in a 10-inch skillet or shallow pan.
  3. Remove 2 tablespoons of melted butter and set aside.
  4. Put the peeled, cored, and sliced apples in a large bowl with lemon juice.
  5. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the apples.
  6. Toss the apples to coat them evenly.
  7. Cook the apples over medium heat in the skillet with the remaining melted butter, stirring often, until apples are tender but still hold their shape.
