A fun, healthy snack combining crisp apple wedges with a sweet and nutty filling, perfect for kids to enjoy at school or as a quick, wholesome treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 apple (skin on)
  • 2 Tbsp cottage cheese
  • 1 Tbsp raisins
  • 1 Tbsp raw sunflower seeds

Instructions

  1. Cut 2 wedges from each side of the apple, on either side of the core.
  2. Mix the cottage cheese, raisins, and sunflower seeds in a bowl.
  3. Spread the mixture on the exposed parts of each apple wedge.
  4. Close the apple to form the 'apple-wich'.
  5. At school, your child can open the apple-wich and eat each half separately.
