Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ginger

Instructions
