Ingredients

  • 7 cups cucumbers, sliced thin
  • 3 medium onions, sliced
  • 2 medium green peppers, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon mustard seed
  • 1 tablespoon celery seed
  • 2 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Dissolve salt, mustard seed, celery seed, and sugar in vinegar over low heat.
  2. Do not boil.
  3. Cool and pour over sliced cucumbers, onions, and green peppers.
  4. Let stand in the refrigerator for 24 hours before serving.
  5. Will keep in the refrigerator for months or can be frozen.
