Ingredients

  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour

  • 3 or 4 apples, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Mix vegetable oil, eggs, and sugar in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Add flour, cinnamon, and baking soda to the mixture and stir until smooth.
  4. Fold in chopped nuts and sliced apples.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
