Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 packet lemon jello
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1 cup diced unpeeled apples
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup whipped topping

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine crushed pineapple (undrained) and sugar.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
  3. Add lemon jello to the mixture.
  4. Stir until the jello is completely dissolved.
  5. Add cream cheese and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  6. Allow the mixture to cool.
  7. Fold in diced unpeeled apples, chopped nuts, and whipped topping.
  8. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch square pan.
  9. Chill until firm.
  10. Cut into squares and serve on lettuce.
