Tips & Substitutions

For a lighter version, consider using reduced-fat cream cheese and whipped topping. If you're allergic to peanuts, substitute almond butter or sunflower seed butter for the crunchy peanut butter. You can also use graham cracker alternatives like crushed vanilla wafers or digestive biscuits. Adjust the sugar to taste, especially if your apple pie filling is sweetened. Make sure to refrigerate for the full 24 hours for the best texture.

Serving Suggestions

Cut into squares and serve chilled for the best flavor and texture. This dessert pairs beautifully with a warm cup of coffee or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Consider serving alongside a slice of Quick Brunch Casserole for a delightful brunch spread. Garnish with additional whipped cream or a sprinkle of cinnamon for added flair.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. If the layers start to separate, gently stir before serving to recombine. Avoid freezing, as the texture can become grainy upon thawing. When ready to serve, simply cut into squares and enjoy straight from the fridge for a refreshing treat.
