Ingredients

  • green beans
  • 0.25 lb bacon
  • garlic powder
  • seasoning salt
  • diced onions

Instructions

  1. Saute diced onions and fry bacon until crispy.
  2. Set bacon aside and crumble or chop into pieces.
  3. Cook green beans with onions in the bacon grease, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add garlic powder and seasoning salt to taste.
  5. Stir in the cooked bacon pieces.
  6. Leave approximately 2 to 3 tablespoons of bacon grease in the pan to prevent sticking and add flavor.
  7. Cook until green beans are tender but still slightly crunchy, avoiding overcooking.
