Ingredients

  • bacon slices
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • dash salt
  • 1 pinch baking powder

Instructions

  1. Fry bacon slices until brown but not crisp. Drain from fat, leaving a little fat in the pan.
  2. Pick each bacon strip up with a fork and dip into the batter made of beaten egg, milk, flour, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Fry the battered bacon in the reserved fat until golden brown.
  4. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
