Ingredients

  • tray of cut vegetables for dipping
  • Italian bread sticks
  • 2 c. heavy cream
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 8 flat anchovy fillets, drained, rinsed and chopped

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a casserole over low heat; add chopped anchovies and sour cream.
  2. Bring the sauce to a simmer, stirring constantly.
  3. Do not let the sauce boil.
  4. Serve immediately with cold vegetables and bread sticks.
