Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. sweetened berries
  • 1 c. boiling water

Instructions

  1. Mix together the margarine, milk, baking powder, sugar, and flour to make a dough, then spread it in a greased, deep baking dish.
  2. Pour the berries and boiling water over the dough and bake at 400°F until the cake is done.
