- Toast bread and cut into cubes.
- Put into buttered casserole and cover with hot milk and melted butter.
- Let soak for 20 minutes.
- Beat eggs; add remaining ingredients except brown sugar. Combine with bread and pour brown sugar over the top.
- Bake in a 300° oven for 40 minutes.
