Ingredients

  • 4 medium to large, cleaned croaker
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 stick butter
  • Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Place the cleaned fish in a greased baking dish.
  2. Arrange onion slices under, over, and in the fish.
  3. Place approximately 1 tablespoon of butter in each fish.
  4. Pour lemon juice into the baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle Old Bay seasoning and sugar over the fish.
  6. Bake in a 375°F oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until done.
