Ingredients

  • 3/4 to 1 lb. fish fillets
  • 1/2 small chopped onion
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Season the fish fillets with salt, pepper, and garlic salt.
  2. Place the seasoned fillets in a casserole dish.
  3. Cover the fillets with chopped onions and slices of American cheese.
  4. Mix together the sour cream and cream of mushroom soup in a bowl.
  5. Pour the sour cream and mushroom soup mixture over the cheese slices.
  6. Bake at 325°F for 45 minutes.
