Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. flank steak
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard

Instructions

  1. Set the oven to 450°F.
  2. Use a flat baking dish large enough for the steak and place it in the oven for 5 minutes to warm.
  3. Blend the butter, salt, black pepper, and dry mustard to create a seasoning mixture.
  4. Add the seasoned butter to the warm dish.
  5. When the butter melts, add the flank steak to the dish.
  6. Bake the steak for 5 minutes, then turn it over.
  7. Bake for another 5 minutes or longer depending on desired doneness.
  8. Slice the steak diagonally and turn each slice in the seasonings in the dish.
  9. Serve directly in the dish.
