Baked Flavored Turkey

Ingredients

  • 1 whole turkey
  • 1 c. white wine
  • celery, chopped
  • onion, chopped
  • several apples, chopped
  • grapes, peaches, oranges (may use one of these, all three or none; optional; only used for extra flavoring)
  • Wish-Bone Italian dressing
  • lots of soy sauce
  • seasoning salt
  • pepper to taste
  • paprika
  • parsley
  • dash of garlic powder (optional)
  • oregano
  • water

Instructions

  1. Wash and clean out turkey well, removing all insides.
  2. Stuff inside of turkey with celery, onion, apples and other fruits, if desired.
  3. Secure.
  4. Place turkey in pan on rack.
  5. Pour in bottom of pan approximately 1 inch of water and the white wine.
  6. Top turkey with Wish-Bone Italian dressing, soy sauce, seasoning salt, pepper, paprika, parsley, garlic powder and oregano.
  7. Loosely put foil on top and bake at 350° for 30 minutes per pound.
