Ingredients

  • 4 oz. penne pasta
  • 1 can spaghetti sauce
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 4 oz. Mozzarella, grated
  • 12 oz. cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet until fully cooked.
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to the package directions.
  3. Drain the cooked pasta, ground beef, and mushrooms.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, ground beef, mushrooms, spaghetti sauce, cottage cheese, Parmesan, and grated mozzarella.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a 9 x 9-inch baking pan.
  6. Top with additional grated mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 40 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
