Ingredients

  • butternut squash
  • apple
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Cut the butternut squash into 4 pieces; do not peel and clean out the seeds.
  2. Mix together butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour.
  3. Place the mixture on top of each squash piece.
  4. Put a slice of apple on top of each prepared squash piece.
  5. Cook in the microwave for about 5 minutes or until the squash is tender.
