Ingredients

  • 2 swordfish steaks
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 to 1/3 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • dash of soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix brown sugar, orange juice, ground ginger, and soy sauce well to create the marinade.
  2. Marinate the swordfish steaks in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Bake the marinated swordfish steaks in the oven for 6 to 8 minutes per 1/2 inch of thickness.
  5. Baste the fish halfway through with the remaining marinade during baking.
  6. No need to turn the fish during cooking.
