Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 8 oz cooked macaroni
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can tomato sauce or paste (optional)
  • 1/2 cup grated American cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet; pour off excess fat.
  2. Combine cooked macaroni, tomato soup, cream of mushroom soup, and optional tomato sauce with the cooked meat.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle grated American cheese evenly over the top.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 20 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
