Barbecue Baked Liver

Ingredients

  • 1 lb liver
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 small onion
  • 4 slices bacon

Instructions

  1. Wash the liver thoroughly.
  2. Coat the liver with flour.
  3. Place the liver in a nonstick roaster and layer sliced onions over it.
  4. Lay bacon slices on top of the onions and liver.
  5. Pour half of the barbecue sauce over the liver and bacon.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) for 20 minutes.
  7. Turn the liver over and pour the remaining barbecue sauce over it.
  8. Bake for an additional 15 minutes until cooked through.
