Ingredients

  • 1 cabbage
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 tomato
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • dash of salt

Instructions

  1. Cut the cabbage into four quarters, but do not cut all the way through the base.
  2. Open the cabbage and layer slices of onion, green pepper, and tomato alternately inside the cuts.
  3. Add half a stick of margarine on top of the layered vegetables.
  4. Place three slices of bacon on top.
  5. Wrap the cabbage twice in heavy-duty foil, ensuring it is wrapped securely.
  6. Cook in coals for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
