Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean ground lamb or beef
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 bunch parsley, chopped fine

Instructions

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground lamb or beef, lemon juice, chopped onion, chopped parsley, milk, flour, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  4. Divide the mixture into equal portions and mold onto skewers, forming elongated sausage shapes around the skewers.
  5. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Brush skewers with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  7. Grill the kabobs for about 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through and nicely browned.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
