Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken livers
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp white wine
  • garlic

Instructions

  1. Rinse the chicken livers and drain on absorbent paper.
  2. Mix honey, soy sauce, vegetable oil, white wine, and garlic to make the sauce.
  3. Let the livers stand in the sauce for 30 minutes.
  4. Spoon the livers with sauce into a greased shallow baking pan.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes, turning the livers once during baking.
  6. Serve hot, inserting a pick into each liver or as an entrée with hot rice and chopped green onions sprinkled on top.
