Exotic Celery offers a crunchy, creamy mixture of celery, water chestnuts, almonds, and green peppers, topped with crumbs, perfect for a flavorful side or party dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups celery, in 1-inch pieces
  • 1 small jar pimento
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can mushrooms (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook celery for 8 minutes and drain.
  2. Put all ingredients in a casserole dish in the order given.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F.
  4. Top with crackers or any kind of crumbs before serving.
