Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 2 cups cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a heavy skillet, melt the margarine.
  2. Add chopped celery and chopped onion; cook until clear.
  3. Add cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, liquid smoke, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil.
  4. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish.
  5. Add cooked rice and garlic salt to the casserole.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
