Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 large can sauerkraut (1 lb. 11 oz.)
  • 1 large can tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown the onion and ground beef in a skillet; drain off excess fat.
  2. Drain half of the juice from the sauerkraut.
  3. Combine the onion and beef mixture with the sauerkraut, tomato sauce, and brown sugar.
  4. Turn the mixture into a baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
