Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon instant minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury baking powder biscuits
  • 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef; drain excess fat.
  2. Add barbecue sauce, instant minced onion, and brown sugar to the beef; mix well and set aside.
  3. Separate the biscuit dough into 12 individual biscuits.
  4. Press each biscuit into the bottom and up the sides of ungreased muffin cups to form cups.
  5. Spoon the beef mixture into each biscuit-lined cup.
  6. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese on top of the beef filling in each cup.
  7. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
