Ingredients

  • 3 lb ground beef
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 3 c soft bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c finely chopped onion
  • 2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the eggs.
  2. Stir in milk, bread crumbs, chopped onion, and salt.
  3. Add ground beef and mix well.
  4. Chill the mixture for a short period to firm up.
  5. With wet hands, shape the mixture into 6 dozen meatballs.
  6. Bake in two 15 x 10-inch pans at 375°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
  7. Place meatballs on another baking pan and cool.
  8. Freeze if desired.
