Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 c. whole wheat flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the egg.
  2. Add buttermilk, oil, all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, and baking powder; beat until just mixed.
  3. Heat a lightly greased frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Pour batter from a large spoon onto the pan.
  5. Flip the pancake when puffed and bubbles begin to pop.
  6. Cook the second side until golden brown.
