Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Feta Cheese
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Finely Chopped Fresh Basil or 1 Tbsp. Dried Basil Leaves
  • 1/4 tsp. White Pepper
  • 16 oz. Frozen Phyllo Sheets (18 x 14-inch), Thawed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a cookie sheet.
  2. Crumble feta cheese into a small bowl and mash with a fork.
  3. Stir in the beaten eggs, chopped or dried basil, and white pepper until well combined.
  4. Cut thawed phyllo sheets into strips or shapes as desired.
  5. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture on each piece of phyllo and fold or shape into triangles.
  6. Arrange the filled phyllo triangles on the prepared cookie sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
