Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger, browned
  • onions (optional)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup rice (not Minute rice)
  • 1 can bean sprouts, rinsed well under cold water
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375° to 400° F.
  2. In a skillet, brown the hamburger until fully cooked.
  3. Rinse the can of bean sprouts well under cold water and drain.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked hamburger, rinsed bean sprouts, water, rice, cream of chicken soup, and mushroom soup.
  5. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  6. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  7. Bake uncovered for 1 hour and a half (90 minutes).
