- Brown ground beef in olive oil; add onion, catsup and Worcestershire sauce. Add sufficient water to prevent burning and simmer 20 minutes. Add kidney beans; salt and pepper to taste. Garlic powder and chili powder or oregano may be added. Continue simmering about 30 minutes more. Serve on buns, using only one-half of bun. Top with slice of cheese and melt in hot oven. Serve hot.
