Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 cup sugar
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup shortening

Instructions

  3. Cut in the shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
