Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bulk sausage
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 medium potatoes
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 (16 oz.) can creamed corn
  • 1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. basil

Instructions

  1. Brown sausage and chopped onion in a skillet; drain excess fat and set aside.
  2. Cook cubed potatoes in boiling water for about 15 minutes or until tender.
  3. Add creamed corn, whole kernel corn, evaporated milk, salt, pepper, and basil to the cooked potatoes.
  4. Stir in the browned sausage and onions.
  5. Simmer the mixture for 20 minutes before serving.
