Ingredients

  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup melted margarine
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Spread chopped pecans in the bottom of a deep-dish pie shell.
  2. Mix the beaten eggs, sugar, light corn syrup, salt, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Add melted margarine to the mixture and blend thoroughly.
  4. Pour the mixture over the pecans in the pie shell.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 to 50 minutes until set.
