Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup uncooked long grain rice
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
  • 2 celery ribs
  • 1 small green pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked beef cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, sauté rice in oil until golden brown.
  2. Add water, beef bouillon, sliced celery, chopped green pepper, chopped onion, and soy sauce.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cooked beef cubes.
  6. Cover and simmer for an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until rice and vegetables are tender.
