Ingredients

  • 1 medium steak
  • 1 lb. fresh mushrooms
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 lb. fresh snow peas
  • 4 Tbsp. peanut oil
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. cooking wine

Instructions

  1. Marinate the steak in 1 tablespoon of oil, soy sauce, and cooking wine. Slice the steak into 1/4-inch strips. Save the marinade.
  2. Slice the mushrooms and onions.
  3. Heat 4 tablespoons of peanut oil in a wok or large skillet.
  4. Add the marinated steak strips and cook until browned.
  5. Add the sliced mushrooms and onions; cook until vegetables are tender.
  6. Add the snow peas and cook briefly until bright green and crisp-tender.
  7. Pour in the reserved marinade and stir to combine.
  8. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
