Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 (10 count) can refrigerator biscuits
  • shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Grease 10 muffin cups.
  3. Brown ground beef in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in barbecue sauce, minced onion, and brown sugar.
  5. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  6. Separate refrigerator biscuits and press into the bottom and sides of each muffin cup, forming a 1/4-inch rim.
  7. Spoon 1/4 cup of the meat mixture into each biscuit cup.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the meat.
  9. Bake at 400°F for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool for 1 minute, then remove from muffin cups.
