Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 3 lb. sirloin tip
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 10 oz. beef bouillon
  • 10 oz. red wine

Instructions

  1. Braise beef in margarine.
  2. Add onion.
  3. Mix flour and seasonings and add to beef.
  4. Pour in bouillon and wine and scrape pan well.
  5. Cover tightly and bake at 325° for 4 hours.
  6. Serve over egg noodles or rice pilaf.
