Ingredients

  • 3 lb. rump roast
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3/4 c. soy sauce
  • 6 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 4 tsp. sesame seed
  • 1/2 c. chopped green onions and stems
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Slice beef against the grain into 1/4-inch slices.
  2. In a bowl, stir together sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, chopped green onions, garlic, and pepper.
  3. Add sliced beef to the marinade and toss until all pieces are coated.
  4. Marinate for at least 1 to 2 hours at room temperature or overnight in the fridge.
  5. Cook by barbecuing, broiling, or sautéing until done.
  6. Serve with rice and use the sauce on the rice.
