- Cut meat into bite-size cubes and dredge through flour, salt, and pepper.
- Brown the meat in oil.
- Add onion and garlic and sauté until browned.
- Transfer to crock-pot with remaining ingredients: boiling water and tomato juice.
- Cook on low for about 4 hours while you are at work.
- Serve over rice with diced hard-boiled eggs, diced cucumber, crumbled bacon, raisins, diced apples, and chopped onion.
