Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza crust
  • 1/2 pound sliced deli or leftover cooked roast beef
  • 1/3 cup pizza or spaghetti sauce
  • 4 ounces sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 2/3 cup diced green or red pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Unroll the pizza crust on a lightly greased 15 x 10 inch baking sheet.
  2. Arrange the sliced roast beef lengthwise in the center of the dough.
  3. Spread pizza or spaghetti sauce on top of the beef.
  4. Layer sliced mozzarella cheese over the sauce; sprinkle diced green or red peppers if using.
  5. Fold the sides of the dough over the filling; pinch the edges and ends to seal completely.
  6. Bake in a 425°F (220°C) oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cut into 8 thick slices and serve with additional warm pizza sauce and salad if desired.
