Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/3 green pepper
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • pepper
  • 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 4 oz. can black olives
  • garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground chuck in a skillet.
  2. Put the chopped onion, green pepper, garlic, tomato paste, hot water, salt, and pepper into a blender.
  3. Chop the mixture for 3 seconds until well combined.
  4. Mix the cooked meat, rice, and blended ingredients together.
  5. Pour the mixture into a 2-quart baking dish.
  6. Bake, covered, at 350°F for 1 hour.
  7. Sprinkle garlic salt over the top if desired.
