- Saute beef cubes in a pan sprayed with nonstick coating (Pam).
- Add 1 cup water, white wine, minced garlic, and onion soup mix. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
- Add sliced mushrooms and dried tarragon; simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
- Thicken the sauce with cornstarch or flour.
- Remove from heat and add no-fat sour cream. Stir until blended.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
