Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can enchilada sauce
  • 1 can chopped green chilies
  • 12 tortillas
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 lb. Longhorn cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and season lightly with garlic salt and pepper.
  2. Mix the cooked beef into the soups, enchilada sauce, and chopped green chilies.
  3. Heat the mixture, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add salt to taste.
  5. In a casserole dish, layer tortillas and the beef mixture alternately.
  6. Sprinkle grated cheese and chopped onion between each layer.
  7. Bake at 350°F until bubbly, about 30 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and place cheese on top to melt through the dish.
