Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup chopped berries or chopped fruit
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together until just combined.
  2. Fill greased muffin pans about 2/3 full with the batter.
  3. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
