Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Put flour, baking powder, and sugar into a mixing bowl.
  2. Stir with a fork to combine.
  3. Slowly add 1 to 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream, stirring constantly, just until the dough comes together.
  4. Place dough on a floured board and knead for 1 minute.
  5. Pat the dough flat to 3/4-inch to 1-inch thickness.
  6. Cut out biscuits using a 2-inch round cookie cutter or drinking glass.
  7. Brush both sides of the biscuits with melted butter.
  8. Place the buttered biscuits 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  9. Bake in a preheated 425°F oven for 15 to 18 minutes until browned.
